I lost my Clarice in January, after 14 great years. I was heart-broken over her passing. (Still am.) I wasn’t on the lookout for a new cat (although I considered a dog). Then my roommate told me of a co-worker who had to get rid of his cat Nora, because his son was allergic, & they were moving & couldn’t take Nora with them. He didn’t want to take her back to the SPCA. So off we go to his house to visit her. I was shocked just how much she looked like my Clarice. But we ended up taking her home, and she’s been a joy ever since. She’s 3 years old, and quite the drama queen. I’ve never seen a cat need more attention all the time than this little girl. She’s no Clarice, but she’s been a great healing balm for our spirits since Clarice left us.
